The Wonderful World of Beer

Venus Vinifera wishes to acknowledge the custodians of this land, the Ngunnawal, Ngunawal & Ngambri people and their Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.

We are so excited to have the dearest Nemesia (Meesh) from Wildlower in Sydney, down to host a fantastic event for you all. The wonderful world of beer!!!

A brief dip into the magical world of beer styles. Have you ever wondered what differentiates an ale from a lager? What do all these letters before IPA mean? And what the hell is mixed culture? In this session we'll demystify a bit of the lingo around beer styles and discuss where they originated and have evolved into what they are today. We'll also touch on glassware (and how to keep it clean) and where certain styles will shine in food pairing. 

Ticket includes various tastes of beers, lots of chat and the opportunity to really get into the magic of beer.
