Thomsons | The Work Thomsons Does in Disputes

Law students are invited to attend a Disputes Seminar at leading Australian law firm, Thomsons, on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at 6:00pm.

Gain a practical insight into the work of Thomsons’ Disputes team from a Partner who will draw on their experience acting on complex and high-stakes matters. The session will explore the broad range of work disputes lawyers are involved in, how matters develop from initial advice through to investigations and litigation, and what it is like to work on significant disputes in practice.

Drawing on real-world experience, the session will also touch on competition law matters, including the role of the ACCC and the unique issues that arise in competition disputes.
