The WVC presents "Strings Attached"

For our final concert of the 2023-2024 season, the West Village Chorale is excited to present "Strings Attached," a performance featuring works of living composers set for choir, piano, and string quartet.
The program includes Jake Runestad’s uplifting The Hope of Loving, Alex Berko’s Sacred Place, a stirring anthem to natural beauty, and David Lang’s powerful and pointed the national anthems, as well as Caroline Shaw’s instrumental miniature Entr’acte.
"Strings Attached" also features acclaimed soloists soprano Shabnam Abedi, tenor Dann Coakwell and bass-baritone Justin Beck.
We are also thrilled to present the world premiere of WVC Artistic Director Colin Britt’s So Also We Sing, originally composed for the Maine bicentennial in 2020.
