The Y Tāmaki: GenHERation birthday event

It's the Y's Birthday and to celebrate we are hosting an intergenerational fundraising event.

We have keynote speaker Sarah Colcord! Pasifika Founder and CEO of Chooice NZ. 2022 Social Entrepreneur of the Year! Sarah has worn many hats from being on the Manurewa local board to her work alongside rangatahi across South Auckland her story is inspiring and not to be missed! 

We also have an amazing intergenerational panel - including Former National President of the National YWCA Di Paton, Partner at Deloitte and Pas Peau lead Lisa Tai, Y25 alumni leaders Lushomo Thebe (lawyer, community advocate) and Kate Laughter (film-maker and poet). 

There will be refreshments, intergenerational conversations and RAFFLES. 

Whether it's $1 or $10,000 we are grateful for every donation that helps us carry on the legacy of intergenerational of the YWCA - today we live that out by running initiatives such as the Y25 leadership programme, Gender at Work and our advocacy to close pay gaps.
