A hilarious and heartwarming story of a son giving up his life in London to come back to Australia to look after his dying mother.

Based on a true story

Written and performed by multi award winning LGBTQIA+ Cabaret Artist and Opera Singer Damien Noyce

Being a carer for someone is difficult and even more so caring for someone with advanced stages of Parkinson's Disease. This story is about leaving London in the middle of the lockdown and flying to Australia to look after his dying mother. We cover carer's guilt, the issues with the care industry, Parkinson's Disease, siblings and of course grief.

You'll laugh, you'll cry and be all the more better for the journey.

There is never a dull moment - It's cabaret, it's drag, it's a true story!

"Noyce had stepped in as a last-minute replacement and delivered perhaps the most gripping performance of the night. His physicality and passion shook the entire theatre. Every time he took the stage he wowed; an outstanding feat considering his last-minute call-in." - Maddy Briggs from Limelight Magazine Australia

"A star is born tonight on that stage!" - Jamie Campbell/Fifi La true (the real Jamie that inspired "Everybody's Talking About Jamie")

Proudly partnering with Parkinson's NSW and Shake It Up Australia Foundation and raising funds for Parkinson's Disease research. If you'd like to donate to either of these organisations ahead of your attendance, please visit the links below:
