We are excited to feature Christabel Chamarette as our guest speaker. A pioneering Greens Senator from 1992-96 and an expert consultant for the WA Department of Justice, Christabel has dedicated decades to the WA community. At this meeting, she will highlight the work of Grandmothers for Refugees (G4R), a not-for-profit organization striving to reform Australian Government policies affecting asylum seekers, advocating for fair assessments, compassionate treatment, and pathways to permanent residency.
