ABOUT THE CLASS

Theatre Jazz is a technique based class with a focus in theatre choreography and performance. The class will feature technical progressions and a piece of theatre choreography with a focus in performance. Ideal for Intermediate level dancers, experienced dancers who haven't danced in some time and professional level dancers.

Suitable for ages 16+

Strictly on street parking available at the studio, please do not use the off street parks. 

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Jeremy Hinman is a performer, director and choreographer who has most recently been seen performing in Kinky Boots for G&T Productions. He has over 12 years experience teaching open adults classes and enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion with his students in a fun and supportive environment.

Other onstage appearances include Shrek The Musical (Showcase Entertainment), Jersey Boys (G&T Productions) Legally Blonde and Chicago (The Court Theatre), A Fine Romance and Practically Perfect (JTM Productions), Priscilla Queen Of The Dessert (Showbiz Christchurch & New Plymouth Operatic) and Cats (Sierra Investments).

His other theatre credits include direction for Chess in Concert (G&T Productions/Amici Trust), direction for The Incredible And Glorious World According To The Fitzroys and The Badger Story (Glass Ceiling Arts Collective) as well as choreography for Mary Poppins (G&T Productions/Amici Trust).

Jeremy is also the creator of drag cabaret trio Les Femmes, which has been touring New Zealand since 2020.
