Are you feeling the weight of these times? Concerned about our planet's future? Sensing that old systems are crumbling, while being uncertain about what comes next?
How do we re-member our connection to each other, to the more-than-human world, as we navigate the unravelling of systems? How do we re-member our connection to each other? How can we weave together theatre, Deep Ecology, somatic wisdom, ritual and our stories as medicine to halt the wounds of separation and imagine new possibilities together?
What to expect: This is a 3-day workshop. When you purchase tickets, you are committing to attend all three days.

This exploratory workshop uses embodied process, Theatre of the Oppressed, and Deep Ecology, to honour the invisible and what has always been. We will sit in uncertainty and unknowing together, and cease seeking models or outcomes.
Theatre that Reconnects process acknowledges that we are living through profound transitions. Rather than rushing toward solutions, we create sacred space to witness what is dying while tending what wants to emerge.
What actually happens:
We use theatre games and movement - not to perform, but as ways to explore and connect. Everything adapts to how your body works. Mostly, we're creating space to be with what's really happening, personally and collectively, without having to fix it or figure it out right away.
If you're hesitant:
That makes complete sense. You don't need to know anything about theatre or have any special skills. People come from all kinds of backgrounds - some work in healing or social change, others are just sensing something calling them. The uncertainty you might be feeling about whether this is "for you" is actually part of what we explore together.
The people who come usually find others who are also willing to sit with the big questions of our time.

Three days near Castlemaine with Héctor Aristizábal - Colombian therapist, theatre-maker, and activist who has been doing this work internationally for years, supporting communities through trauma and transition. Beautiful old community-managed school hall with outdoor space, 10 minutes from Castlemaine. Sliding scale pricing so cost doesn't have to be a barrier.

Camping is available onsite $10 per night, and there is a kitchen (limited spots) or at Vaughan Springs down the road, 3 minutes has free camping.
Transport from Castlemaine station is available
