The Booklover's Ball: First Impressions
Description
Some stories are meant to be lived, not just read.
The Booklover's Ball: First Impressions is an evening for the readers, the dreamers, and the people who have strong opinions about fictional characters. On April 18th, the Grand Ballroom opens its doors for one night of live music, an open bar, food, and the particular magic that only happens when book lovers find each other in a room.
Costumes/formalwear is encouraged: come as a beloved character, a villain with excellent taste, or simply someone dressed for the world they'd rather be living in. There are no wrong answers.
The vendor floor will be open all evening, with over 30 independent paper artists, printmakers, and authors selling their work. Browse between dances and discover something.
Synergy Quartet will be performing a Bridgerton-inspired set followed by DJ RoQuest with a playlist worthy of the Night Court.
Nom's provided and Truffle Shuffle chocolates will be at the ball, and there will be an open bar.
Photo booth and a venue that serves up all the vibes.
