The Cutting 2018 Shiraz is ready for tasting and we want you to feel invited!

Our family-run micro winery and vineyard will open to you for the first time to mark the occasion. So, come over for a glass directly out of the barrel and a chance to mingle between the vines with our resident winemaker Belinda van Eyssen and viticulturist Daniel McDonald.

You can expect a relaxing atmosphere, with live music by Adelaide singer Erin Jae, Barossa-sourced gourmet Reubens or a vegetarian delight, and a sweet treat. A preview tasting of the The Cutting 2020 awaits you too!

Our story...

Winemaker Belinda van Eyssen and viticulturist Daniel McDonald launched The Cutting in 2018. The family venture specializes in small scale boutique Shiraz production.Belinda spent her formative winemaking years in the winelands of South Africa, France, Portugal New Zealand and the US. Daniel spent his training in the vineyards of Australia's Barossa Valley, with brief explorative sojourns to vineyards in Germany and the US.They met among the vines of Sonoma County in California before setting up home and cellar in the Stone Well sub-region of the Barossa, origin of The Cutting.

A Covid plan will be in place on the day to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
