WE'RE BAAAAAACK!!!!!

It's 2025 and we have been putting in some work behind the scenes to make our 2nd year at TGEN 3.0 bigger and better than the last!

Not sure what the GAYMES are? Here's the lowdown:

We are realllly sick of hearing that just because you are trans or gender diverse, neurodiverse or disabled you aren’t welcome in sports/movement spaces.

Ugh gross

Human movement and sport are a basic human right

FOR US ALL.

The connection between mind and body is a beautiful and powerful thing.

It's time to remind folks of the joy, affirmation, and inclusion in movement.

All bodies, identities, and abilities are welcome and able to participate in sports.

BUILD A TEAM, GRAB A MATE, OR JOIN A CREW OF LEGENDS AND WE WILL PAIR YOU UP

NO ONE WALKS OUT UNLESS THEY WORK TOGETHER

4 EVENTS

STRENGTH - Time to pick up heavy things, again and again (Accumulative Lifting Total)
ENDURANCE - As many reps as possible during a time cap (Accumulative Body Weight Rep Total)
BIG STOOPID & SILLY - Let's have some fun (Cheeky surprise - Requires a bit of cardio but focus under pressure)
BIG FINALE EXTRAVAGANZA - We always put on a show (Get ready to be an inspiration - First team across the line, multi station relay event)

Teams that wish to be held to a score count will accumulate a total across the day

YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU REALISE & WE CANNOT WAIT TO CELEBRATE YOUR EFFORTS.

All competitors/team coaches/individuals will be sent out a questionnaire for their team a month out to get individual specifics so we can ensure the appriorate challenge is allocated to the correct human.

To Level the playing field, folks will need to select a movement category to ensure we can create as close to fair starting position for all folks, no matter where you begin. All selections will be confirmed and validated by the T Gen coaches to ensure as much fairness as possible.

Competition level - You will be held to pre-selected weights on the bar or movement standards strictly. For those who want to push and see what amazing things our bodies are capable.
Scaled (For the semi-regular mover, you know your way around the gym a bit however limited exposure to pushing their limits)
Adaptive - (Wheelchair users, movement limitations, physical disabilities)
Level playing field though 😜✌️

No matter who you are, you can still have a go, and we would love to see you there. All have options for affirmed gender identity, and experience level to dictate so we can set their respective challenges, and to not select at all.

Community BBQ will be available and some cute local businesses/services & cute stuff on the day for folks to have a look at between events.

TEAM REGO'S (4ppl ) - Once completed you will be sent an email & link to your coaches directly to organise the registration fee & info required to build an epic and equal day.

INDIVIDUAL REGO - starting 26th May Monday, If you don't have a team, you can be registered as an individual and we will pair you up with some cool peeps.

Movements: We encourage you to start including the following in your training plans

Barbell/Trap Deadlifts/ Wheelchair Deadlifts
Air Squats
Push ups
Sprawls/Burpees
Tires Flips
Overhead Press - DB/KB
Bear Crawls
and what ever other funky movements you can think of ;)

All movements will be adapted to the category/access needs.

Full Event Details will be provided over the few weeks so you will have time to practice

We have spent a lot of time working out how to balance the various intersections or sports governance and we encourage folks to judge their capacity as to whether they engage with this. We acknowledge that because of the beautifully diverse humans we are, it is (at least as far as we know) humanly impossible to remove every single barrier. We have just removed as many barriers as possible to provide the most access to all. We encourage collaborators & volunteers that want be apart of this journey. The aim of this event to bring people closer together, inspire action and celebrate those who are taking a chance for themselves
