The Pyramid Presents: Dolls & Dykes

It's Mardi Gras so that means we are booking and PAYING those who built Queer community, the Mothers, the protectors, the Jewels, The Dolls & The Dykes. For another very special edition of The Pyramid we are bringing you a full line-up of Dolls & Dykes. We celebrate the legacy of the Black & Brown Dolls & Dykes who have passed and all we owe to them for our liberation to exist as we do. We are uplifting the Dolls & Dykes who are often the ones at the frontlines for our communities, the ones who are protecting, inspiring and setting the standard for how we celebrate the beauty, joy and freedom of being Queer bodies and being true to ourselves. We are celebrating this countries Dolls & Dykes, thanking them, protecting them and paying them. Witness their beauty, their art and their movement. See you at The Pyramid on the 20th of February, remember to save your $$$ we expecting big tipping for this affair!

Named after the Frank Ocean song 'Pyramids' this night is dedicated to QTBIPOC dancers, royalty, deities, ethereal beings and everything in between. Here at the Pyramid we offer a sexy space for queer people and bipoc people to strip, tease and dance whilst being showered with $$$, love and appreciation.

The Pyramid was created in commemoration to the Black strippers and Black Sex workers who paved the way, they ones who created the artform of pole, the ones who sensationalised and platformed the strip clubs and stripper culture, those who revolutionised the sex industry and to make space for those who have come after. In 'so called Australia' qtbipoc workers are overlooked and undervalued, similarly our qtbipoc performers and artists continue to be overlooked and undervalued as creators and innovators of movement, sensuality and sexual liberation and this space was created to give them their flowers and dollars they deserve. They are the trendsetters, the blueprint.

Tipping $$ will be sold at the door, they are a must if you wish to attend and watch and are available to re-purchase throughout the evening to make sure you continue to make it rain on our dancers. Private performances will also be offered $50 per 10 minute show with your fav dancer.

Tickets are Free for Mob and will be discounted for Trans Women & Sw's please just ask for discount codes from @thepyramid2.0 on Instagram.

The Pyramid would also like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place on Unceeded Gadigal Land, we pay our respects to ancestors past and present and remember that it always was, always will be, ABORIGINAL LAND.

We would also like to pay our respects to all Sex Workers as strip and pole have been created and sensationalised by the Black sex workers before us and they deserve their flowers always. We also pay respects to all the Trans workers who are often forgotten and erased, may we ACTIVELY protect them, may we speak their names, may we remember those whose lives were stolen who never received Justice or Care they deserved.

Do not attend if you don't know the words 'BOUNDARIES' or 'CONSENT', we will not tolerate any unsafe behaviour.

Dj & Performer Lineup to be announced soon!!
