More dates in 2026 to be confirmed.

This monthly Graduate Group is a warm and creative space to reconnect with peers, revisit the writing tools you’ve already explored, and be introduced to new forms and techniques.

Led by Karen McKnight, award-winning writer and facilitator of the foundational workshops, each session offers a chance to reflect, write, laugh, and grow alongside others who understand the unique experiences of being a carer.

What to Expect:

· Revisit powerful tools like stream of consciousness, memory prompts, poetry, memoir, and fiction writing

· Explore new techniques for deepening your writing practice

· Continue mapping your hero’s journey through personal and fictionalised storytelling

· Find out about writing competitions, writing events, and getting your words published

· Develop your voice and confidence in a supportive, peer-based environment

Why come back? Participants from the 4-week program have found this work to be grounding, uplifting, and deeply therapeutic. This group offers an opportunity to build on that — in your own time, in your own way, with the same spirit of encouragement and creativity.
