There's no I in TEAM
Event description
An interactive workshop you don’t want to miss!
Got team issues? If you're having trouble gaining, training, or sustaining your Good Humans then you need to come to this!!
If you're the proactive type, who knows that culture is going to exist anyway....then you may as well design it!
This two hour workshop will give you a start on what to consider when working with your Good Humans!
It's all about....
- Maintaining commitment to vision/purpose
- Learning about each other's strengths so that you can get the best from your Good Humans
- Understand how your systems and processes can tell your teams what to do / what not to do and how this contributes to the culture in your organisation
- Look at the role values play in guiding behaviours of Good Humans who work with you, and anyone else who interacts with your business.
This workshop is for a small group of participants, adding a tailored, interactive and meaningful approach to understanding culture, and troubleshooting current challenges. We don't do 'one size fits all' approaches to working with Good Humans!
DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, THIS IN-PERSON WORKSHOP WILL BE LIMITED IN NUMBERS. SO GET IN QUICK!
ABOUT GOOD HUMAN:
GOOD HUMAN believes that humans are inherently….GOOD! Humans want what is best for the other good humans in their lives, the communities around them, and the world.
From organisational values, policies, and cultural initiatives – GOOD HUMAN brings a unique approach to ensuring the GOOD HUMANS in your business can give their whole selves to their work, resulting in greater efficiency, engagement and motivation.
WHO IS GOOD HUMAN?
Cindy Corrie. Sound familiar? It should!
Cindy Corrie is the founder, and a Board Director of The Sycamore School – Queensland’s first full-time educational program for young people on the autism spectrum.
Cindy has spent the last 5 years providing inclusive learning opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged young people in the Redlands, and with her team, provided life-changing opportunities for their families also. Cindy’s work has been so successful that families re-locate from interstate and overseas just to attend The Sycamore School!
Cindy’s experience took her on a journey where she would harness the knowledge and skills required in areas such as advocacy, governance, business and financial modelling, government liaison, social impact finance and investment, fundraising, strategic planning, policy creation and the cornerstone to it all – establishing an inclusive community and culture.
Cindy was recognised by her community in the 2018 Australia Day Awards as a Local Hero, and also awarded Local Hero by Westfield in the same year. She currently sits on the Australian Autism Alliance – a national advisory and advocacy group of peak bodies and key stakeholders who work to improve the lives of autistic people more broadly and work closely with the Federal Government. Cindy is also a Mentor in Residence at the QUT School of Entrepreneurship.
Cindy has a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies, is accredited with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is currently working on her thesis in a Masters of Philosophy in the School of Management at Queensland University of Technology (Inclusive Organisational Culture). Cindy is also a trained Workplace Mental Health First Aid Responder with the Workplace Mental Health Institute.
The important stuff – Cindy is a go getter. A champion for positive community experiences for EVERYONE. She’s a shop-a-holic, loves her Gin, and she’s not very good at saying NO!
Her motto: Great minds don’t think alike
