Black Tulip Chorale presents its Spring 2024 concert, "There Will Be Light", at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2024, at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood (100 E Adams Avenue, 63122). Designed as a musical dialogue supporting mental health and wellness, BTC's program will offer selections from composers including Stephen Sondheim, Benjamin Britten, Joni Mitchell, Robert Schumann, Shawn Mendes, Tom Kitt, and featuring Michael John Trotta's stunning "For a Breath of Ecstasy", with texts drawn from St. Louis-born poet Sara Teasdale.
