Barrengarry House Drawing Room presents, 'The Romantics'. An intimate performance in the drawing room of heritage listed ‘Barrengarry House’.
On November 19th enjoy a concert soiree of Brahms, Schumann & Strauss with champagne and canapes in the Barrengarry House gardens. If you are more of a morning person, attend the morning coffee concert on the Sunday 20th November with refreshments on the verandah.
'The Romantics' concert is a rare chance to enjoy some of Australia’s finest solo & chamber artistes in an informal and intimate setting. Soprano Lorina Gore returns to Kangaroo Valley after a series of performances with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Opera Queensland. Bridget Crouch whose performance career spans across many continents, will perform this time much closer to home as violinist and host the Barrengarry House concerts. Performing for the first time on Kangaroo Valley, pianist Nicholas Routley, founder of the Sydney Chamber Choir and previous conductor the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and several other orchestras in Australia and East Asia.
