The Shadow and Authenticity: a psychodramatic exploration

Psychodrama is the Theatre of Truth. The Drama of the Soul.

This is a workshop for personal and/or professional development for all genders.

Our shadow is that part of us that is hidden- not necessarily what we don't like about ourselves. Some might say that it is those aspects of ourselves that we would vehemently deny belong to us. You might vehemently deny that you can sing, or give a speech, or express rage.................... so many aspects to shadow- what are your particular shadows?

Psychodrama and delving into our shadow is the best way I know to develop intimacy, create better relationships and develop authenticity.

This experiential psychodrama group is for people who wish to weave the threads of their life past and present to create the future of their dreams and goals.

Psychodrama is an experiential method- no acting experience needed and absolute beginners or experienced psychodramatists are all very welcome.

The psychodrama method is also a useful tool for professional development.

Session Details

There will be a maximum of 8 participants. Attendance on both days is preferred and people who attend both days will be given preference. One day only may be available depending on registrations, so email me if you want to attend just once.

The work of the group will evolve from the lives, issues and warm-ups of the participants.

Date and Times

Saturday 8th October and Saturday 22nd October. 1pm to 5pm.

About the Facilitator:

Katherine Howard is an accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Psychodramatist, and Teacher with the School of Shamanic Womancraft. She has 40 years of experience as a consultant occupational therapist, counsellor and group therapist. She has a counselling/psychotherapy and groupwork practice in Lane Cove, Bondi and Katoomba.
