In an increasingly isolated and atomistic world, New York Times Opinion columnist David Brooks makes the case for breaking down our social barriers to achieve more meaningful connections. Drawing on psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and other fields, Brooks distills a broad range of insights into a fundamental trait behind being a good person: understanding what others are going through.

Brooks will be joined in conversation by Professor Nicholas Epley, John Templeton Keller Distinguished Service Professor of Behavioral Science and Faculty Director of the Roman Family Center for Decision Research.
