Thinking Green: Friends and catchment group safety training

This session is a safety training workshop for new Friends/Catchment Group volunteers and existing group members who wish to refresh their safety knowledge and skills.

This free workshop outlines basic environmental weed control techniques, safe work practices and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements for working in local government reserves, as well as how to obtain assistance and tools to help your group work safely. It is also a great opportunity to meet many like-minded volunteers who are working in their local bushland and waterway areas.
