Event: Chakabuki Matcha Blind Tasting with Simply Native
Looking for a relaxing Sydney activity to attend with loved ones? Discover the calming effects of matcha tasting with Simply Native's blind matcha tea-tasting experience.
Matcha is a fine powder made from green tea leaves harvested and then ground under strict conditions to maintain high quality. Not only is matcha delicately flavourful it is also loaded with powerful plant-based antioxidants known as polyphenols.
Our gracious instructor Yukino introduces you to the exquisite taste of three different types of ceremonial grade matcha in the first round of tasting. Next, in the second round, Yukino shuffles the types of matcha to reenact with you the blind-tasting game, 茶カブ゠chakabuki, that was popular among intellectuals in Kyoto during the Kamakura (1185-1333) period.
All in all, our matcha tea-tasting workshop is the best bet for you!
