16 Contemporary Asian ceramicists, 100 unique handcrafted wares
Overdue Studio and independent Newtown bookstore Between Lines present Thirst, an exhibition highlighting contemporary Asian craftmanship and culture. Features 100 handcrafted wares by contemporary designers from Japan, Taiwan and Korea embracing ceramics as a response to single-use, throw-away culture.
During Sydney Design Week (15-22 Sep), we will host a Japanese Tea Ceremony, Chinese Tea Appreciation and Art Kintsugi workshops with the goal of facilitating connection that was inhibited by the pandemic.
