Thirsty Plants Watering Morning
Event description
💧 Why this event matters
Everyone loves planting days and for good reason! But the real challenge starts after the planting. Our 400+ young native plants have just put down their roots… and they’re thirsty. Really thirsty.
To give them the best shot at surviving the hot Canberra summer, we’re running a community watering morning, a friendly “production line” to carry water from the nearby river up to each plant. Think teamwork, laughter, buckets, and splashes.
Every litre you carry means another seedling lives to see autumn. 🌱
