Event description

'This is Me' In Conversation With - Panel Discussion

Come with us on a journey through stories and photographs with ‘This is Me: Real stories of Tasmanians living with a life limiting illness’.

As part of the 'This is Me' photographic exhibition, we will host an ‘In Conversation With’ panel discussion. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the ‘This is Me’ project, the exhibition, the stories of people living with a life limiting illness, and palliative care.

‘In Conversation With’ will foster open discussions with a dedicated Q&A session. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage directly with our panellists.

Spaces are limited, and we encourage you to book your spot today.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This is a wheelchair accessible event.

About 'This is Me' photographic exhibition

‘This is Me’ reminds us of how important life is.

Through personal stories and photographs, we share the individual experiences of six Tasmanians living with a life limiting illness, highlighting their resilience, love and connection with those around them. This exhibition shows us what matters most - deep connections, meaningful care, and the value of living fully in every moment.

'This is Me' is an invitation to deepen our understanding of palliative care, sparking open and honest conversations.

Alongside the exhibition will be information about palliative care and an opportunity to share your story with us.

We are grateful to have collaborated with photographer and palliative care nurse, Eliza Beer, to capture the beautiful photographs of Tasmanians living with a life limiting illness and their loved ones.

We thank the City of Hobart for their support in holding this event.

We warmly welcome all members of the community and encourage you to bring along your friends and family.

Entry is free and there is no need to book.
