Join The Coal Loader Team for a relaxed evening of basket weaving. You will learn the techniques for weaving your own baskets from repurposed items.

This class is hosted by North Sydney Council and is free for local residents.

No experience required.

Basket making materials included, please bring a large-eyed blunt weaving/darning needle OR $2 to buy one at the class to take home.

BYO personal refreshments if you wish- no shared foods due to COVID-safe measures

Booking essential – limited to 16 places only! This is an adult class available to 16yrs and over. We cannot take drop-ins on the day and all participants must be registered with their own name and contact details. Duplicate names will be deleted.

Please do not attend if you are suffering any COVID-19 related symptoms.
If you are feeling unwell at all in the lead-up to the class, please cancel your ticket (via "Edit Order" on your receipt) so that your space can be passed to the next waiting. Please do not book in for the class if you are in an at-risk category or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within the past 21 days. Please keep 1.5m distance from other guests outside of your bubble and staff.
