This Thursday's Theme: Pumpkin Magic Cooking Class

We are PUMPed about this cooking class! 

Join Andrea from the Sustainable Food Kitchen to learn about a million and one (nearly) ideas for using every part of a whole pumpkin.

Andrea will demo how to prepare:

• Pumpkin Seed Pesto with Chili and Lime
• Roast Pumpkin Crispy Skin Chips
• Roast Pumpkin and Cannellini Dip
• Spiced Pumpkin Achar
• Pumpkin Steaks with Smoked Salt 

What to expect:
All participants will be going home with a whole new knowledge on how to cook a seasonal pumpkin in a variety of ways, info on sustainable foods, and a jar of Spiced Pumpkin Achar!

This class is designed to be for creators of all levels, cooking novices and people of all abilities welcome! Recommended for adults only.

Meet at The Genia McCaffery Centre (AKA the cottage), in The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton, 2060.

Cost: $0 to take part however ONLY book if you can make it.

What to bring: 

Just yourselves and a charged phone (to check-in). 

You may wish to bring a notebook and personal refreshments but these are optional.

Allergies and dietary requirements: This class may contain allergens such as wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts however if you do have an allergy please contact staff in advance to ensure that we can meet your needs. 

This class is suitable for vegetarians and most dishes are suitable for vegans too!

Booking essential – Limited spaces. This is an adult class available to 16yrs and over. We cannot take drop-ins on the day and all participants must be registered with their own name and contact details. Duplicate names will be deleted.

If you are feeling unwell at all in the lead-up to the class, please cancel your ticket (vis "Edit Order" on your receipt) so that your space can be passed to the next waiting. Please do not book in for the class if you are in an at-risk category or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within the past 21 days. Please keep 1.5m distance from other guests outside of your bubble and staff where possible. Masks may be mandatory by NSW Health and you will be informed before the class if so, but even if not mandatory they are always welcome.
