Event description

Angeroo here giving you a final update on all things Thrashville this weekend.

It's pretty important info so please read all of it carefully.

First up, the best news is that it's almost upon us and unlike other events, this one is still happening albeit, with a slightly different line up.

As suggested a few weeks ago through socials when we were deciding on whether to go ahead on or not, the biggest risk was not knowing how it was going to roll the week of the event with bands, crew and you, all at risk of contracting Covid and having to bow out last minute.

As such, it's been a big week of and sorting and we now have an updated program for this weekend. It's a tough pill to swallow, that all our planning and intentions should become in vein, it's not something that we wish to deal with long term, but we're doing the best we can to keep the show on the road, which I'm sure you can all appreciate. This week as luck would have it, even our replacement bands needed replacing.

Looking at it positively, there's now some more local band on the bill that are absolutely stoked to get the chance to be part of it!

In short, the New Christs and Kim Salmon had to cancel late last week, we got The Meanies on board, they got Covid. We just found out yesterday that Cable Ties are close contacts, we searched far and wide last minute and have the following awesome bands to add..

Reliqa

Zombonimo

Alpine White

Punk Rock Hillbilly

Please see updated program 2.0 below and here.

COVID Safety: In order to operate this sacred rare as rabbit stew heavy fest, Dashville is operating against a huge level of additional risk. We can afford to run this risk because we have faith in our audience to do the right thing and abide by the rules. If you don't, well quite simply, we're both fucked.

Despite how cooked the rules are, this is what we all have to do at the moment to get through and still have a bit of fun. So we are asking you to do what we must in order to keep the dream alive and for us not to cop huge fines when the toys in blue rock up to check in on us.

The Public Health Order says you can sing and dance at your seated area, so that's just what we've got to do.

By coming to Thrashville you agree to:

  • Remain in your designated seated area unless you're on the way to bar, toilet, smoke, camp, tattoo, merch tent etc
  • Stay near your seat, particularly if you're keen for a bop and thrust.
  • Carry a mask and wear it whenever you feel necessary.
  • Do your best to socially distance at all times.
  • Do not mingle, create a mosh pit or dance floor.
  • Test yourself before heading out (if you can afford the RAT), we won't be asking for any evidence, it's just for peace of mind.
  • If you're unwell just let us know via email before the day and we'll offer a Dashville credit for future events.
  • Don't be a dipshit and point any frustration or angst against Thrashville and its workers.
  • Check in using the QR code upon entry
  • Shut the fuck up after midnight.
  • Once in control of what you need to do, then have a bloody tops time.

Set in the lush outdoor confines of Dashville, at Lower Belford, this event is a rare exotic treat for punk, hard rock and metal genres and all those who like a little bit more energy in the mix. Aside from the two stages of bands rolling one at a time, the days are accompanied by some evolving awesome stuff like skateboarding and live graff art.

You won't need it anyway as we'll have plenty of good stuff to offer all day, night and morning. Buying food and booze at the event essentially helps us afford the whole operation of workers and bands, so we thank you for doing your best in that regard...

BUS TRAVEL - Bus is always based on demand. if you want to catch a bus, you can send us an email with your location and we can keep you in the loop.
