Thread x Congee Club
Event description
Thread and Congee Club are celebrating our first birthdays with a joint party! Come join us in a night of queer Asian euphoria and community at Miscellania on August 2nd. From 6pm we start with mahjong, crafts and chill hangs downstairs, while upstairs we’ve got DJs and Filipino congee by Kamay.
DJs, drag and a live performance will take the stage from 9pm downstairs, taking us from the relaxed and funky vibes of the evening into a night of high-octane sets from some of our favourite Asian queers and friends. Get ready for an unforgettable night of slick house, euphoric techno, and banging bass, alongside incredible drag and live vocals. 50% of profits will also go to burmese and First Nation’s mutual aid.
