Threaded Planet African Inspired Art & Fashion Pop Up

Join us for a special pop up featuring local artist Arshad Aziz. Arshad is the owner of Threaded Planet, a clothing brand that upcycles clothing, transforming them into stylish fashions that can be worn by anyone. He will be showcasing his line of African inspired clothing, dolls, and tapestries. All of his items are one of a kind and individually handmade.

Arshad's company, Threaded Planet, is rooted in upcycled fashion. He creates new items out of discarded clothing and fabric items. His philosophy revolves around keeping clothes out of landfills by transforming them into new items, so they are worn longer. Arshad also provides custom services where he can take your old clothing and heirloom items and turn them into new items tailored for you. Arshad also teaches sewing classes so you can repair and design your own items at home.
