Threading Stories Workshop

Threading Stories is a community quilting workshop grounded in care, creativity, connection and storytelling.

Textiles are a huge part of design and art and have served as a vital form of communication, protest and storytelling throughout history, representing the strength and resilience of those whose voices can only be shared with a piece of thread.

This workshop allows participants to sew or embellish a shared quilt using thread, fabric, ink, paper and more. Open to everyone from beginner to advanced sewers and storytellers, to printmakers, painters and mixed media creatives.

Participants are invited to bring their own sewing materials or anything they would like to add to the quilt; however, materials will be provided for everyone on the day as well.

Tea/coffee and snacks will be provided. Please list any allergies you may have.
