Threads - A New Australian Eco-Musical
Event description
Join us at the Dorrigo Rainforest Centre's theatrette this November 9th for a special sing though performance of Threads - A New Australian Eco Musical.
Step into the heart of the rainforest for this vibrant new performance by Jade Naidu that celebrates the spirit of Gumbaynggirr Country and the rich diversity of the Mid North Coast community.
Through a magical blend of music, poetry, movement, and storytelling, Threads follows Pip, a lively young seedling, and her wonderfully eccentric family of trees and animals. Together, they connect through the mystical “Wood Wide Web” to defend their delicate ecosystem from invasive threats—both botanical and human.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Waterfall Way, this heart warming and humorous show explores themes of connection, resilience, and hope.
A show for all ages — with a touch of cheeky language used thoughtfully to spark learning and conversation among younger audiences.
