Description

Join North Coast Local Land Services for a full-day workshop exploring the unique biodiversity of the Bellinger Catchment and the importance of weed and pest management in protecting threatened species and ecological communities.

Event details:

This practical workshop is designed to build landholders' knowledge and skills in weed and pest animal management, while providing guidance on actions that can help protect threatened species on their property.

A highlight of the day will be the opportunity for landholders to learn how to use and loan a trail camera from North Coast LLS to identify what native and non-native wildlife are active along their riverbanks and other vegetated areas. Please note, participants must be LLS ratepayers in order to Loan out a camera.

At this event you will:

  • Learn from leading practitioners and subject matter experts.

  • Gain insights into threatened species programs in the Bellinger Catchment.

  • Discover the services available to help manage weeds and pest animals.

  • Learn how to install and use a trail camera to identify the wildlife active on your property.

Additional details:

Morning tea, lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day.

Postal address will be required for loan of camera equipment.

Contact: Chloe Baker, Senior Land Services Office on email: chloe.baker@lls.nsw.gov.au or call 0486 043 422.
