Three Minute Thesis and Visualise Your Thesis Finals

Join us on Friday 22 August at 3pm for the University of Sydney’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) and Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) Finals—an exciting opportunity to hear how Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students from across the University showcase their research projects creatively.

At this event, you'll hear the 3MT faculty winners present their research in just three minutes using only one slide. You’ll also be able to view a video playlist of this year’s VYT submissions, where students present their research in engaging one-minute visual format. The winners of 3MT and VYT competitions will be announced at the end of the event and will represent the University at the respective international finals in October.

The event will wrap up with light refreshments and drinks—a chance to meet the finalists, chat with fellow students, and celebrate the diverse research happening across the University.

Whether you’re curious about what your peers are working on, looking for inspiration for your own research journey, or just enjoy learning about diverse topics, this event is a great way to engage with the HDR community.
