Event description

Join us for a fun afternoon of interactive family friendly workshops, with a focus on food, play and sustainability.

United Way WA's Three Pillars are designed to build stronger communities through:
Education, Healthy Living and Financial Stability.
Get ready to roll your sleeves up and immerse yourself in an engaging afternoon suited to the whole family.

This ticketed event will be held in the gorgeous Perth City Farm "Art Hall", highlighting United Way WA's Three Pillars of focus:

Education: the kids will love the activities planned for the day, including a special storytime with local legend Derek Nannup! There will be loads of tactile crafting stations and mascots from the Paint the Swan REaD team.

Healthy Living: indulge in an interactive cooking demonstration by local Perth Chef Caroline Taylor, utilising rescued food to create easy, exciting and affordable dishes for the home cook.

Financial Stability: learn how to create a hardy, beautiful and water-wise garden for the long hot summer ahead with green thumb Andy Harold.

United Way WA has been supporting the Perth community for over 30 years, and we hope to continue long into the future.

Funds raised at this unique event will go towards our Imagination Library, providing educational books to kids in need, getting them school-ready and break the cycle of disadvantage.
