Introducing Thrifty Threads Preloved Market which will compliment our already established Collective INDOOR Market at Ipswich Showgrounds.

This Preloved Fashion Collection will run in conjunction with our current market to add more variety and variation for the local and surrounding community.    

Our new addition will bring a new variety of customers and weather proof all year round venue.  Ipswich Showgrounds never disappoints at the versatility it has with such an easy set up and ample parking surrounding the grounds and not to mention the on site Bistro right next door.  Plenty of entertainment for the kids also with Inflatable world just across the path so the kids can play while mum shops.  You can drive you car up to the front doors and then roll in all your stuff and a very simply process to find your home for the morning.  Even if the weather turns gloomy we still HAVE YOU COVERED to unload your vehicle and bump in.  Thrifty Threads Preloved Fashion market will be held monthly and is open to Men, Woman & Children's clothes and accessories but not limited to preloved collectable homeware and antiques. 

We have different Stall Holder fees :

  • $35 (1 table or rack space only -seller brings own table, chair & rack)
  • $55 (1 x rack supplied - seller brings own table & chairs) LIMITED AVAILABLE
  • $50 (3x3 - seller brings own tables, chairs & racks)
  • $75 (3x3 - 2 racks supplied - seller brings own table & chair) LIMITED AVAILABLE
  • $100 (6x3 - seller brings own tables, chairs & racks)
  • $140 (6x3 - 3 x racks supplied - seller brings own table & chairs) LIMITED AVAILABLE
  • $20 per day P/l Insurance - is available on request and invoiced separately
  • $25 individual rack hire

How does it work ?   Bring a model or why not do it yourself and open the world of sustainability & affordability curated by Thrifting. DRESS TO IMPRESS on a budget!!   Our parade will be 930 - 1030 at each market.  The parade will depend on the popularity of participants.  2 min description of your Business & outfit on a cue card for the MC.  

What does your fee cover?

  • Cost of venue (each venue differs)
  • Advertisement of the event
  • Set up and pack up for the day for the event preparations
  • Cleaning fee
  • Stall space
  • Rack Hire for some options - Limited rack hire available in each category.

STALL HOLDER INFO

  • A pre-email will be sent to you either Sunday or Monday evening checking for any information we should be aware of prior to sellers placement - eg health issues, disabilities etc, space next to a friend
  • Your space will be set out for you before you arrive and details emailed to you via Bump In Information - Thursday before the market. 
  • The seller MUST provide all their own equipment i.e. tables, chairs, racks etc at the moment.
  • Sell your preloved women's, men's or children's clothing and accessories. Any size/ gender or age group.
  • You will be able to fill your stall with any preloved items but MUST keep within the boundaries of your space and not encroach on your fellow neighbours.
  • Please make sure you have no hazards around your space to ensure there are no trip hazards in the safety of the community and others.
  • You are able to share a stall with a friend or several and there must only be 1 payment made.  It is the responsibility of the seller to sort costs out between friends.  We do not organise split payments.
  • Our market allows all ages, however children 13 and under will need to be with a supervising parent or guardian. This venue is not suitable for kids to be running around. 
  • We can organise signs for you and can email across or be collected on the day from the Administration front table if required.  Please let us know how many you would like in our pre-email details.
  • Venue details - There are no ATMS on site at the showgrounds so you will need to clearly provide details to your prospective customers on your payment requirements.  We also DO NOT do cash out or breakdown large notes at the Admin Desk.
  • Stall holder guide will be emailed to you with more information
  • Example of Payment from shoppers: PayPal, Pay ID, Bank Transfer or Cash (Float of $100 for change recommended in small notes or coins)
  • Restrooms on site
  • No refunds will be issued and payments are final.

Timeline

  • Bump In Times from 530am - 645am for 7am Open doors to public 
  • Bump out After 12pm or as directed
  • Everyone must vacate by no later than 130pm
  • Trading Hours - 7am to 12pm 

What items can you sell ?

  • You may sell an preloved clean clothing
  • Preloved clean footwear
  • Jewellery & fashion accessories, handbags, hats & any accessories
  • Preloved toys, kids clothing etc
  • Preloved household wares must be in a clean state
  • Vintage wares
  • Books 
  • No Selling of Food or Electrical corded goods 

Shoppers

  • $2 Entry - Payable via card or cash
  • Indoors event
  • Change rooms available
  • Bring bags for your purchased goodies
  • Bring cash or some vendors will accept card 💵
  • Heaps of Parking available
  • Dogs are allowed inside must be on leashes & have poop bags.
