Join us for a lively panel discussion with four of Waiheke's leading sustainable business practitioners — who have chosen to contribute positively to the planet, through strong business ethics, and producing sustainable products.
From B-Corp certification, corporate social responsibility, the pillars of sustainability, to the circular economy — Waiheke Connect will be asking all the questions to find out what it means to run a thriving business with a social, environmental and economic conscience.
Members of our panel:
Kate Bezar is a co-founder of The Better Packaging Co, which provides eco solutions to the growing mountain of plastic created by online shopping. She also founded Dumbo Feather, the interview magazine profiling extraordinary people from around the world.
Jade Gray has been described as "The Patagonia of Pizza" & is the founder of Gung Ho Pizza which was the first B-Corp certified restaurant group in China.
Jyoti Morningstar is the founder and designer of B-Corp certified fashion yoga brand WE-AR.
Chris Morrison co-founder of Karma Cola and All Good Organics, imports ethical and Fairtrade bananas from Ecuador, and founded Phoenix Juices back in the day.
