Event description

Are you passionate about co-creating a vibrant community where everyone can thrive? Do you aspire to live and work in a healthier, more sustainable way? Are you eager to find balance and joy in your community contributions?

Join us for an engaging workshop where we can come together as leaders, volunteers and citizens to explore resilience, wisdom and wellbeing.

This is a leadership development opportunity for anyone who works or volunteers in, or lives and breathes community life.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Reconnect with Your Passions: Discover how to pursue what you love without sacrificing your wellbeing.
  • Share the Load: Learn how to nurture supportive relationships and a sense of togetherness in your community.
  • Find Balance and Peace: Explore simple ways to prioritise your wellbeing and self-care, enabling you to contribute your best to your community..

Why Attend?

Imagine living and volunteering in a way that feels sustainable, where you sleep better, feel at peace, and don’t sweat the small stuff. Picture yourself in supportive relationships that allow you to share the load and pursue your passions with joy.

This is a practical, interactive workshop that will help you explore and develop your community leadership skills and focus.

What We’ll Explore Together:

  • The Nature of Resilience: Why it’s crucial for survival and possibility in these challenging times.
  • Living Systems Approach: Discover how interconnectedness and mutual learning can enhance community wellbeing.
  • Storytelling: Harness the power of personal and traditional stories to build connections and inspire change.
  • Gift Discovery: Identify and act on your unique passions and contributions to your community.

Activities Include:

  • Interactive Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations about resilience and its importance.
  • Reflective Exercises: Identify personal strengths and passions that can contribute to individual and community resilience.
