Event description

Please note: this event is run by the Small Business Development Corporation for small business owners in Western Australia only.

Running a business is a rewarding but challenging proposition. The time commitment and stresses that come with running a business can sometimes flow into your personal life and impact on your relationships with friends and family.

This workshop will help you develop strategies to achieve a healthy work/life balance that allows you to manage your business (and its challenges) around your family and personal commitments. This includes looking at how to best manage your time, wellbeing techniques and how to handle customer complaints or challenging situations.

This topic covers:
  • The resources available to support small business owners.
  • The business life cycle and how to deal with some of the common issues associated with each stage.
  • Managing risk in your business.
  • Coping strategies and important tools to manage your wellbeing.
  • Know where you can turn to for more help with your business.

This session is for business owners looking to strike a work/life balance.

The facilitator of this topic, Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is dedicated to helping small business owners thrive through expert advice, hands-on workshops and
building a community of like-minded people.
