Event description

The Thriving Women 2023 Conference is the premier conference event to secure a sustainable future for women living and working in agriculture and associated industries.

In 2023 the conference theme is Growing and Inspiring Women Connected Through Agriculture, which seeks to acknowledge and foster the impact women are having on their own lives, businesses, communities and industries.

Conference sub-themes are:

1. Strong Foundations – Building confidence and capability

2. Shaping the Future – Inspiring Action. Tools and mechanisms that will shape forward momentum. Striking a balance between the personal and the professional.

3. Cultivating Curiosity – Sparking creativity and innovation. Exploring entrepreneurship and leadership.

4. The Power of Storytelling – Hearing women’s voices and contemplating the lessons we learn from the stories of others – the triumphs, setbacks and the enduring resilience of rural women.

Women play a critical role in the day-to-day operation of primary production, natural resource management and rural communities. Additionally, women also play a critical role in agribusiness and related industries including the processing, marketing and value adding of agricultural commodities.

Bringing together 200 delegates connected through agriculture, Thriving Women 2023 will empower them to be confident, capable and influential, working towards a sustainable future for agriculture.

The Thriving Women 2023 Conference will be held at Joyes Hall, Chares Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.  The venue is ideal to maximise the interaction between the 200 delegates from across the country and the sponsors.

The Welcome Function on Sunday evening will be held at The Riverine Club, 3 Sturt Street, Wagga Wagga and run from 5.30 - 7.30 pm.

The conference dinner will be held at the Wagga RSL, corner of Kincaid and Dobbs Street, Wagga Wagga.
