What it is
Announcing the first THROWING SHAPES : FOR GOOD on the 14th June 2024 from 7PM. This one is going to be on the Disco and House tip. But as you know, we like to do things a little differently. Expect to be taken on a trip through the funkier side of dance music, with a twist.....
Who is playing?
We have 4 local DJs who will bring their own unique style of delivering quality music. Three of the DJs will already be known to the Saturday Social crew, and we are bringing in a new DJ who we know you will enjoy;

Where is it?
This event is being held at KAMI Burleigh. KAMI is an Asian street food styled event space located in Burleigh Heads with cheap eats, a variety of alcohol options and friendly staff. The perfect location for this event, KAMI is located in the heart of Burleigh Heads 100m from the beach and on the same block as the Burleigh Heads Hotel.

We are bringing together the two things we are passionate about – making people smile through music, and helping people in need.
This year we launch THROWING SHAPES : FOR GOOD, a series of dance music events covering a wide range of musical styles. Every event will be associated with an Australian charity and all profits from events will be donated to these charities.
You can expect something a little different as we stay away from mainstream music, always adding a twist in true Saturday Social Events style!
