Accessible bathrooms are available on every level of the Salamanca Arts Centre, the bathrooms inside the Founders Room will be made gender neutral: one with a urinal, one without.
THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE will take place on unceded Palawa country. We acknowledge the Muwinina people as the original custodians of Nipaluna/Hobart, and pay our respects to those past elders and warriors who resisted colonisation. We acknowledge the Palawa people as the present day custodians of this land, and their staunch resistance and activism for over 220+ years. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE event series is produced by Music Tasmania with the support of Creative Hobart and Hobart City Council.
Lineup
Spooky Eyes
Spooky Eyes are hot off the heels of a successful run of headline shows across Australia and New Zealand & supporting slots for the likes of Foo Fighters, Jack White & Wolfmother, as well as slots at Tasmania's most renowned festivals such as Party In the Paddock & Dark Mofo. Kicking off in 2022 with the release of Leaves, what started as a solo project by frontman Jude Hastings quickly evolved into a full-blown live show – joined by childhood friend Jaxon Bassett on drums, co-conspirator Piper Rayner on bass guitar, and a new addition expanding the power trio, Joel Green on 2nd Guitar. They swapped jangly chords and synths for speaker cranking riffs and a thumping rhythm section. Their new sound is rooted in their mutual obsession of the blues, psychedelia, rock and proto-metal of the early 60s and 70s, blending the soul of Cream, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers and Howlin’ Wolf with the power and heaviness of Blue Cheer, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Sabbath. Spooky Eyes released their debut album Jan 2026, featuring the first single, a cover of The Count Five's 1966 garage classic ‘Psychotic Reaction’. The self-titled record captures the band’s live energy and sound, channeling riff focused acid rock, psychedelia, proto-metal grit and loose, jam-driven energy pulled straight from the late ’60s underground.
