    Event description

    The Albright Center for the Arts hosts a music listening series showcasing a variety of local musicians and music genres. Enjoy the performances in a beautiful, intimate setting. Fully ADA accessible. Seating is at tables where you can sit back, enjoy a little food and beverage, and relax listening to the music. Or get up and dance if the spirit moves you!

    For each performance, doors will open at 6pm. Music starts at 7pm. Beer, wine, and light fare will be available for purchase. Purchase tickets for the entire series before August 21st. Or purchase tickets for individual performances: single tickets or reserved table for 6.

    August 22nd - Rebecca Jade Trio and Axe & Fiddle

    • Sunbury singer/songwriter, Rebecca Jade, will play an all original set of her favorite songs.
    • Axe & Fiddle Jason Yoder on guitar/vocals and Caleb Minium on fiddle. Sets include Jason’s original songs and covers in the genres of classic rock, folk, blues, and Americana.

    September 19th - Prairie Dogma Duo and Cass Bailout Duo

    • Michael Lundy & Brandon Leach are the guitarists and principal songwriters for the band Prairie Dogma performing a variety of original songs as well as eclectic covers.
    • Cass and Bailout Duo, a subset of the larger ensemble, Cass and the Bailout Crew will perform original and covers in the Americana and rock/pop genres.

    October 24th - An Evening of Bach for Solo Violin with Mark Woodyatt

    • Mark Woodyatt is set to showcase a concert of solo violin performances using a distinctive five-string violin. Among the predominantly classical pieces in his repertoire, he will present compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach specifically tailored for a five-string violin.

    November 7th - M&J Big Band

    • 18 Piece Big Band located in Pottsville, PA that plays the hits of the swing era and beyond. Keeping the music of the Schuylkill County’s Dorsey Brothers and Les Brown alive. Best Live Entertainer- Republican Herald Readers Choice- 2024. Bring your dancing shoes!
