Description

Tiaki Moana Documentary Screening – Te Whanganui-a-Tara | Earth Sciences Institute

Join us for a special evening of film, kōrero, and connection celebrating Pacific-led ocean protection.

The Tiaki Moana documentary follows an unprecedented regional movement that brought together 200 participants from 35 countries — youth, scientists, policymakers, and community leaders — to chart new pathways for ocean governance across the Pacific. Filmed in Tahiti and Mo‘orea, it highlights powerful stories of collaboration, culture, and care for our shared ocean.
