Trio the Laughter comedy show is a special live comedy event bringing three Filipino comedic talents - Atak Star, Boobay and Regina - together for an unforgettable night of laughter and entertainment in Adelaide, South Australia. 
 
The event celebrates Filipino humour, culture and community while providing audiences with a high-energy live entertainment experience. It brings together Filipino Australians, multicultural audiences and comedy lovers for a night built around laughter, connection and shared experiences. 
 
THE HEADLINE COMEDIANS: 

 Atak Star, born Ronie Araña, rose from Manila comedy bars to mainstream recognition through his regular appearances on GMA Network’s Sunday PinaSaya. He further expanded his career with television acting roles, including First Yaya (2021). Today, he continues to engage audiences through digital content, maintaining a strong presence on TikTok.

Boobay, born Norman Balbuena, gained his breakthrough in 2004 as a finalist on GMA Network’s KiliTV Comedy Hunt, launching his career in Philippine entertainment. He became a familiar television personality through programmes such as Unang Hiritand Celebrity Bluff. His distinctive comedic style, energetic personality and long-standing television career have made him a recognised name in Filipino comedy.

Regina Otic established herself as a standout live entertainer through performances at renowned Manila comedy venues such as Klownz and Zirkoh Comedy Bars. Her career highlight is her ability to combine stand-up comedy with an exceptional singing voice and highly recognisable impersonation of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. Her unique blend of powerhouse vocals and comedy has made her a memorable performer on the Filipino entertainment circuit.
