About the Facilitator: Sarah Hyland, an Anaiwan woman from Uralla in Northwest New South Wales (NSW), is the Founder of Together Business. As a practicing Chartered Accountant with a strong background in accounting, finance, and business advisory, she has played a pivotal role in empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs and setting Indigenous-led businesses up for financial success. Her dedication to fostering economic growth and self-determination within First Nations communities is reflected in her work, servicing Indigenous businesses of all shapes and sizes across the country. Sarah is committed to creating an inclusive business environment where cultural heritage and traditional knowledge are valued. Through Together Business, she provides mentorship, guidance, and essential resources to help Indigenous entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of the business world.
About the Tiddas in Business program:
The Tiddas in Business program is a series of
culturally appropriate business activities that introduce
entrepreneurship, business, and leadership skills for women wanting to start their own
business. The
activities are led by deadly Indigenous Businesswomen who provide insights, strategies,
tools, and resources for starting and growing a business.
