Tie-Dye Workshop - October School Holidays (12-16yrs)
Event description
Join us for a tie-dye session!
The process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment and binding with string or rubber bands, followed by application of dye(s). Participants bring their own COTTON t-shirts to tie dye and the ActiveEd team will teach the correct application of dye and resist-dyeing techniques. Each child takes home their top in a plastic bag with a flyer on how to care for their tie dye.
This session is for young people aged 12 to 16 and will take approximately 1 hour.
Note: these sessions are popular and often book out! If you can no longer make it, please let us know so we can offer your place to someone else.
