Tilly Vickers Willis at Merricreek Tavern

Tilly Vickers Willis and her band invite you to an intimate evening for a first listen to her unreleased album, Silver Halide Film. 

Tilly Vickers Willis’s debut album, titled Silver Halide Film, is a masterful exploration of contrasts: detachment and connection, intuition and uncertainty, embodiment and dissociation. It’s a deeply personal yet universal soundtrack that plays like an indie film—a collection of vignettes capturing the imperfect, poetic nature of being human.

With influences spanning Mark Hollis, Jeff Buckley, PJ Harvey, and Cocteau Twins, Tilly crafts an avant-garde world steeped in analogue textures, cinematic moods, and lyrical intimacy.

Tilly will be joined by her wonderful band, musicians Max Stringer, Oly Bugg, Ruby Moxey-Fithall and Noah Roland Williams. 

The night will begin with a solo performance by a secret opener. 

We acknowledge that this event will take place on stolen land of the Wurundjeri-Willam people.

We pay respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the deep lineage of songmaking that has existed here as a way of community, history and joy, for thousands of years.
