Tim Woodz w/ Clare Cowley: Postcard Recollections
Event description
The wandering Tim Woodz has spent the last four years on a non-stop tour, hitting festivals and intimate shows along the east coast, becoming somewhat of a songwriter’s songwriter in the folk music scene.
“Fragile yet bold, effervescent yet muted, the music swells with emotion and intimacy. It’s the perfect way to leave a budding audience satisfied, yet in desperate need of more.” — Melbourne’s Beat Magazine.
Tim’s performances are enigmatic, with songs backed by cassette tapes, acoustic guitar, banjo, and harmonica, all delivered with sharp comedic timing, raw tunes, and an energy that’s equal parts heart and chaos.
Supporting him is local songstress Clare Cowley, who effortlessly blends folk and jazz with a fiery magnetism, rich smoky vocals, and heartfelt songs beautifully accompanied by a weeping guitar. Fresh off recent shows with the incredible Neil Murray, Clare brings an undeniable energy to each and every performance.
