What is Tiny Beautiful Things?

Based on Cheryl Strayed’s best-selling book and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, Tiny Beautiful Things transforms the heartfelt advice columns penned by “Sugar” between 2010 and 2012 into a compelling theatrical experience. When Strayed, a struggling writer stepped into the anonymous, unpaid role of advice columnist, she used radical empathy and raw honesty to connect with those navigating life’s challenges, both large and small.

At its heart, Tiny Beautiful Things is a celebration of the human experience, the messiness, the beauty, the heartbreak, and the hope. It’s about life in all its complexities; the highs, the lows, and the lingering, unanswerable questions. This work asks us to truly look, deeply listen, and unapologetically feel.

This performance is about reaching out when you're lost, healing in the face of pain, and embracing the questions that may never be answered.
