Help celebrate the Lake Macquarie Tiny Forest’s first birthday!
Planted in May 2023 with assistance from over 130 community volunteers, the tiny forest is a wonderful example of how we can work together to restore nature and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Join us to check out the forest’s phenomenal growth and learn about how the tiny forest method is accelerating habitat creation and carbon capture. There will also be nature play and art activities for the kids, a chance to win a native plant pack and morning tea.
Please wear covered shoes.
