Description

Join The Groundswell Collective for a guided bus tour through a series of thriving Tiny Forests across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

On this fun journey you'll visit community, private and school planting sites including Kotara School, Lake Mac, Teralba Public School, Edgeworth Public School and Cardiff Heights, sharing the stories, science, and people behind these fast-growing native ecosystems.

Along the way, you'll enjoy morning tea and lunch in the forest, and see how local action is restoring biodiversity and climate resilience across the region.

A relaxed, social day of nature, learning, and connection.

Travelling together by bus, we'll visit key sites and share morning tea and lunch along the way. Each stop offers time to explore, reflect, and hear how these living classrooms are growing over time.
